What is AFT?

Have you heard of AFT, or Aroma Freedom Technique, before?
I just had my first one-on-one session yesterday and it was AMAZING!!!
So, naturally, I've got to share with y'all too!
In this video, Crystal Gilbert tells us all about how she got started with AFT, how it's changed her life and those of her clients, and what she recommends for someone interested in getting started with this technique.
Let me see if I can describe AFT for you in a bit more detail….
It's not a physical, hands-on, process like applying essential oils to chakras. It's a guided session where you breathe in specific essential oils when prompted (and guided through the breathing) by the practitioner. During the session you are working through emotional blocks and limiting beliefs and in the end you create a positive affirmation to continue working with until your next session.
If you've ever had a Life Coaching session or Emotion Code session or other guided mental/emotional healing session like that, then that's a bit what AFT is like, with the benefits of aromatherapy used in a specific combination and pattern.
This is definitely a healing practice you can learn to do on yourself and on others. For me the major benefit of a one-on-one session was allowing someone else to "take the reigns" and guide the releasing and healing process.
As a healer myself, I can do SO much on my own, but it is definitely good to have someone else to help dive even deeper and add their intuition and skill to get past some of those really stubborn blocks.
