My Personal Thyroid Healing Journey
Hi, I’m Erin, founder of Ivy+light. 11 years ago, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism after experiencing a long period of poor health, digestive issues, extreme fatigue, hair loss, weight fluctuations, and chronic stress.
I was determined not to live the rest of my life stuck in cycles of exhaustion and imbalance. The process of truly restoring balance took two to three years of consistent care, learning to manage stress, and supporting my body in gentle, sustainable ways. Alongside working with a trusted medical professional, I began incorporating natural, holistic practices — including crystals, essential oils, nervous system support, and daily stress-relief routines — that helped my body gradually move back into balance.
Aquamarine was the first crystal I worked with. I wrapped it into a necklace and wore it daily as a reminder that my health mattered. Whenever stress rose, I would hold the crystal, slow my breath, and repeat an affirmation until my body settled. Over time, those small, consistent moments added up.
